Design Consultation

Booking and payment

Full payment of $150 AUD is required at the time of booking to confirm your consultation.

Preparation

To make the most of our time together, you're encouraged to share relevant floor plans, photos, measurements, inspiration images, and your main design questions ahead of the session.

Cancellations and rescheduling

At least 24 hours' notice is required to reschedule your consultation. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice and missed appointments are non-refundable. One reschedule is permitted per booking. These terms are subject to any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Online consultations

Consultations take place online. Please join the session at your scheduled time. If you're running late, the session will still finish at the originally scheduled time. If technical issues prevent either party from joining, we'll communicate to resolve the issue or arrange an alternative time where appropriate.

Redeemable consultation fee

The $150 consultation fee may be credited towards a larger interior design project commissioned through Ella Joan Studio. The credit is valid for three months from the date of your consultation and applies to professional design fees, excluding products, furnishings, and third-party services. The credit is non-transferable and may only be used once.

Scope of service

The consultation provides personalised design advice and recommendations tailored to your questions and project. It does not include formal design documentation, technical drawings, detailed sourcing lists, or ongoing project management unless agreed separately.

Design advice

Recommendations are based on the information provided during the session. Final design decisions, purchases, measurements, and implementation remain the client's responsibility.
